Photo was taken while sitting on my daughter's back porch in North Carolina. The Crepe Mrytle's are loaded with blooms and as I sat on the porch, suddenly a dense morning fog began to roll in towards the house....so peaceful.

I'm a 72 year old wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend. Eight years ago, I finally decided to explore my creative side to see where it might take me. My absolute passion has become photography. April of 2011, I finally purchased my first DSLR camera and realized I have so much to learn technically. My point and shoot was so much easier, but limiting. I must admit to being a 'slow learner' when it comes to the technical aspects of photography.
